Who is responsible for your data
This notice explains how we process the personal data you send us through the enquiry form on ebm.ee.
The controller is Aktsiaselts EBM Grupp (registry code 10670552), Paljassaare tee 43B, 10313 Tallinn, Estonia. For any question about your data, write to us at info@ebm.ee.
What data we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive the details you enter in the form: your name, company, email address, phone number and message, together with the page or product the enquiry was sent from.
To protect the form from spam, we briefly use your IP address in pseudonymised (hashed) form to limit repeated submissions; the IP address is not stored with your enquiry or sent to us. Providing the data is voluntary, but without contact details we cannot reply to you.
Purpose and legal basis
We use the data to answer your enquiry and, at your request, to prepare an offer or take other steps before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).
We process the IP address on the basis of our legitimate interest in protecting the form from spam and abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use the data for any other purpose, including marketing.
Who receives the data
The data is processed on our behalf by our website host in the European Union and by our email service provider, acting as our processors. They may use it only on our instructions.
We do not pass the data on to anyone else unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep the data
We keep your enquiry and the related correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it and to perform any contract that results from it. After that, the data is deleted, unless the law requires us to keep it longer (e.g. accounting documents).
The hashed IP value used for spam protection is valid for 10 minutes and is then deleted automatically.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise these rights, write to us at info@ebm.ee.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (www.aki.ee).
